This website contains information about the effects of attachment, attachment difficulties and childhood trauma; and about helping people who’ve experienced them. I’ve created it for the benefit of parents and carers, mental health professionals and for people who may themselves have experienced childhood trauma. Attachment disruption and early trauma are interwoven, and the many trauma resources on this website reflect that understanding.

This is a labour of love for me, and I’d be interested in feedback about my site - comments, suggestions for new material (references, links) or problems with links - please email me and let me know.

If you’d like to use any of my articles, please check with me first - I’m usually very happy to give permission, but I do like to know how and where my material is being used, and that it’s being attributed appropriately.

Please check back as I add new material from time to time (the parenting “snippets” on the Articles page change every month or so).
